  • The Founders’ Board Exceeds Fundraising Goal by Nearly $400K,
  • Raising Over $2M

On a crisp summer day on June 22, over 540 guests gathered at members only Northshore private club, Shoreacres in Lake Bluff, IL, to enjoy cocktails and dinner overlooking Lake Michigan, FUNdraising for the Ann and Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago. The 64th Annual Dinner on the Bluff presented by Wintrust and hosted by the Founders’ Board of Ann and Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago, was part of an annual event that also featured a Pro Am championship the following day.

The night highlighted the Lurie Children’s Heart Center and featured patient family Tim and Lindsey Brach, who shared their story and the role genetics and discovery played in their journey to have a healthy and beautiful family, alongside their physician, Dr. Greg Webster. The crowd was inspired to raise paddles for Lurie Children’s, donating nearly $1M that evening for the first time in the event’s history. The rigorous donating ‘under the tent,’ paired with the incredible support of Wintrust, The Murphy Family, Packaging Corporation of America and Pasquesi Sheppard, and countless others, helped to raise nearly $2.1M for Lurie Children’s Heart Center.
