Shirtdresses are one of my favorite summer to fall transitional pieces because its such a versatile staple. If you have a short sleeved version, you pair it with the ubiquitous ballet flats of summer, sandals or even wedges and then when fall comes around, you tie a cardigan around your neck put on some mary-janes or boots. Another way I love styling a shirtdress especially the button down type is layered over some jeans and a tank, finger and wrist jewelry some sneakers like the Adidas sambas. For the non-cinched waist shirtdress like the Sunspel one seen below, a nice chunky belt or take a brooch and pin the back, voila!
