♦ Nia Long, Kristen Bell, Jenna Dewan Tatum and Minnie Driver all get down to their birthday suit for Allure Magazine’s “Nudes” May issue which features cover star Olivia Munn.

♦ SPORTS:

STIX!!! The 2014 NBA Defensive Player of The Year is our own Joakim Noah. He thanked coach Tom Thibodeau who noted “Noah has also become an even bigger leader on and off the floor for his teammates after the loss of Derrick Rose (knee surgery) and the trade of Luol Deng to Cleveland.” He is the first Chicago Bull since Michael Jordan to win the prestigious award. Congratulations Joakim!!!

♦ Did you see that dunk?! Oklahoma’s Russell Westbrook went in!

♦ Chicago Blackhawks, playing at home beat The Saint Louis Blues 2-0 in game 3 of the 1st round of the Playoffs.

♦ BOSTON STRONG! One of the largest in Boston Marathon history, 32,408 runners, took off from Hopkinton for the 118th running  with elite athletes and weekend plodders together renewing a determined pursuit of the finish line in Copley Square, amid greater-than-ever security. 38-year-old Meb Keflezighi became the first American to win the Boston Marathon since Greg Meyer in 1983.

♦ The death toll in the South Korea Ferry sinking has topped 100 with more unaccounted for.

♦ W. Neil Eggleston has been named the new White House Counsel to take over for Kathryn Ruemmler. He, formerly of Kirkland & Ellis LLP, has a background in congressional and regulatory investigations representation.

♦ Still not a Netflix member yet? you may want to join soon before they increase their rates. The company that’s brought you “House of Cards” is set to make the increase to go in effect sometime before July and will hike prices by $1 or $2 per month for new customers. The company’s nearly 36 million current subscribers will continue to pay $8 per month.

♦ Pharma giant Novartis to Buy Glaxo Cancer Drugs. Novartis agreed to buy cancer drugs for as much as $16 billion while selling most of the company’s vaccines division to Glaxo for $7.1 billion and its animal-health unit to Lilly for $5.4 billion.
