Obamacare. After last week’s executive order signed by president Trump putting Congress on the hook for fixing Obamacare, a bi-partisan agreement has been drafted by Sens. Lamar Alexander, R-Tenn., and Patty Murray, D-Wash which will on a short term basis restore subsidies for low-income Americans that President Trump rescinded last week. So far the deal has received support from Dems and some GOPers that have been against the previous repeal plans though the President’s initial support of this bi-partisan deal might be short lived. While addressing the Heritage Foundation Tuesday night Trump stated he was not in support of the subsidies. Speaking of Heritage Foundation, word on the net is that Cubs co-owner Todd Rickets is being considered for the conservative think tank’s new president role. • US Olympic Gold medalist gymnast McKayla Maroney, 21, announced on Twitter that she had been molested by former USA gymnastics doctor Larry Nassar, since she was age 13. She was inspired to reveal this by the ‘Me Too’ movement which was actually started 10 years ago by Tarana Burke but gained steam in the past few weeks after the Harvey Weinstein sexual misconducts revelations. Nassar is currently in prison in Michigan after pleading guilty to possession of child pornography in July. He is still awaiting trial on separate criminal sexual conduct charges in addition to being sued by over 125 women in civil court who claim he sexually assaulted them.
• In Chicago news: The identity of the man who fell from the LondonHouse hotel has been revealed as Eric Paul Janssen, a father of three and VP for the Sandusky Newspaper Group in Memphis, who was taking photographs without permission. The Chicago Cubs’ quest to another world series is getting tougher as the team lost another game to the LA Dodgers in Wrigley Tuesday night. • Today will begin the government’s new social media screening for immigrants, the amended Privacy Act System of Records. Though the Department of Homeland Security acknowledged they’ve been collecting social media information on immigrants for years, this new law will allow them to collect “social media handles, aliases, associated identifiable information, and search results” publicly available with the help of firms like Equifax, Intelius. DHS says it is not collecting new social media data on naturalized U.S. citizens.

• Angela White vs the Kardashians. White, bka Blac Chyna through her attorney Lisa Bloom has filed a lawsuit targeted at the whole Kardashian clan and not just her baby daddy Rob. According to TMZ, Chyna is suing Rob, Kris, Khloe, Kourtney, Kim, Kylie and Kendall, claiming they conspired to torpedo her reality show and also caused her great pain over an alleged domestic violence incident in April.
