As I entered through the covert entrance to Jimmy at The James Hotel Chicago, past the guests that filled the room, my gaze was fixated on two tables twinkling in the left corner holding pieces from newest jewelry line Henri Bendel LUXE.

The collection included layerable necklaces, pendants, earrings, bracelets and rings. Semi-precious stones and crystals of earthy green, red and blue tones were the main attraction of this exclusive preview reception. Around sixty guests which included some of Chicago’s blogging media, fashionistas, and buyers flowed in and out of the dimly lit back room bar.
Designed by Creative Director Pina Ferlisi of Henri Bendel who was in attendance , said the “look was inspired by the look of fine jewelry.” “The stones include malachite green, tiger’s eye, black onyx and blue lapis stones,” according to Henri Bendel’s Water Tower Place general manger Kristen Koch. Moroccan crystals and Swarovski elements are set in 12k gold and rose gold as well as rhodium metals. Prices range from $58 midi rings to $138 art deco wrist cuffs.
Attendees left with swag bags filled with special gifts. Check out the collection in stores now at the Henri Bendel store at Water Tower Place on Michigan Avenue.
