Chicago (Deerfield actually) based Beam, Inc and Courvoisier, one of the world’s leading cognac houses held the Chicago launch party for the new product in their Courvoisier Brand portfolio last night at Untitled. Courvoisier Gold,a first of its kind
is a light and exquisite cognac experience that is crafted with a delicate blend of Moscato wine from the South of France and Courvoisier’s signature cognac.
With the beats of DJ Million $ Mano(who most recently was on tour with Kanye West and working on releasing new material from his “Treated Crew”) and select apps by Chef Roblé, guests in attendance seemed to be having a great time. The surprise performer for the evening was rising R&B singer Luke James who was the sole opening act for Beyoncé’s four-day limited engagement at Revel in Atlantic City over the summer. On the scene were: Jerry Azumah, Onasis Odelmo, Aramide Esubi of The SassyPeach, Hailee of Corals & Cognacs and many more.
Courvousier Gold recently made headlines as it hosted the 40th birthday party for actress Gabrielle Union in NYC.
I’m more of a clear liquor/wine drinking type but this Courvoisier gold was relatively smooth in the mxed drinks they served. From the looks of how guests crowded the bar, I’m sure this will be a must serve especially for the upcoming holiday entertaining season.
