Before the grand premiere of “The Great Gatsby” which opened Cannes Film Festival last night, the movie had it’s splashy and first Chicago premiere last Monday(May 6) at Maxim’s in the Gold Coast. The event carefully coordinated and planned by Margaret O’Connor featured a variety of Chicago who’s who in business, civic, social and media such as Mamie Walton, Sean Eshaghy, Splash EIC Susanna Negovan, Walton and Jan Melk, Joffrey Women’s Board President, Melissa Babcock, Macy’s Andrea Schwartz and Dr. Steven Stryker, Toni Canada, Debi Lilly of A Perfect Event, Michigan Ave. Mag EIC J.P Anderson, Paul Iacono, GNMAA new prez Mary Ann Rose and many more. Following the screening guests gathered at Maxim’s and were transported back in to the roaring 20’s, so chic!
