Summertime Chicago is upon which means its outdoor festival time. The great thing about this city is we have a ton of festivals to choose from blues, to ribs, to music but our favorite festivals are the boozy kind. With that in mind, we’ve listed the beer/wine/spirits centered festivals taking place in the Chicagoland area this summer. From whiskey to wine to beer, this list will keep you tipsy until Labor Day!
The Chicago Ale Festival
When: Friday, June 17th, 6-10 pm.
Where: Buckingham Fountain (301 South Columbus Drive, Chicago, IL, 60605)
Details: There are over 200 craft beers available to sample, including Angry Orchard, Maplewood, and Two Brothers Artisan Brewing. A portion of proceeds will benefit the Grant Park Conservancy.

Brew To Be Wild 2016
When: June 17th-June 18th, 6-11 pm.
Where: Lincoln Park Zoo (2200 North Cannon, Chicago, IL, 60614)
Details: Sip some of Brew To Be Wild’s 75 speciality brews from over 35 brewries.
VIP Perks: Early access to beer tasting, access to VIP only section in Café Wild, extra tasting tickets, and a souviner glass.

2016 Whiskey Wine and Swine Music & Art Festival- Chicago!
When: Saturday, June 25, 2016. 3-9 pm.
Where: Montrose Beach, 200 W Montrose Dr, Chicago, IL 60640
Details: Event includes 60 wines and whiskeys and a hog roast.

Chicago Margarita Festival
When: July 30th-31st, 12-8 pm.
Where: South Shore Cultural Center, 7059 South Shore Drive, Chicago IL
Details: Besides dozens of unique marageitas, there is also live music, dancing and beer to keep the party going.

Chicago Craft Beer Festival
When: July 23-24, 12-10 pm.
Where: Sheffield Avenue between Webster and Fullerton
Details: Returning for it’s fifth consecitve year, the Chicago Craft Beer Festival brings in over 80 craft beers for festival-goers to sip from over 40 breweries.
Ticket Price: $35 plus fees.

Wheaton Wine Walk [Red & White]
When: Thursday, August 11th, 5-8 pm
Where: Downtown Wheaton
Details: Twelve one ounce tastings and a souvenir glass come with the ticket. Twenty locations with food and wine.

Craft Beer & Wine Festival
When: Saturday, June 25, 2016, 2-6 pm
Where: Heritage Park Performance Pavilion 333 W. Dundee, Wheeling, Illinois 60090
Details: Attendees can sample over 60 beers, ciders, and wines.

Windy City Wine Festival
When: Friday Sept. 9, 4:30pm – 10pm thru Saturday Sept. 10, 2:30pm – 8pm
Where: Buckingham Fountain
