Bright colors, white pants, maxi flowy dresses, linen pants, light jackets means it’s summer time Chi and Chicago outdoor summer fun officially kicked off yesterday evening when NoMI at the Park Hyatt Hotel Chicago hosted their annual garden party. This year’s theme was Art at the Park which was a collaboration with floral designer Mike Hines of Mike Hines Signature. Violinist Katarina Visnekvska was the musical guest for the evening.

As guests began to enter the garden they were greeted with the view and selections of wine, specialty cocktails and flatbread assortment by the gingham clad NoMI servers.
Art At the Park included several people from Chicago’s art scene including The Art Institute of Chicago COO David Thurm with his wife Andrea and friends.

Several Art Institute of Chicago Auxiliary Board members such as Toni Canada, Kimberly J. Burt,Casey Zgutowicz and Chicago Artists’ Coalition’s Alexis Nido Russo, were also in attendance.

Just like any fun party, guests stayed a tad bit past the event’s end time which is a testament to the kind of inviting atmosphere NoMI creates.
It’s one of our favorite spots in the city and we’re not the only ones, Worth Magazine recently listed it as a #3 on it’s Top 10 power lunch restaurants across the country.
