Ann Taylor, the clothing retailer known for classic women’s apparel, debut a new concept store Friday night in Chicago and was it bold! It was a color blocking feast for the eyes that made you wish Spring was already here. The event was hosted by a bevy of gals and guys about town: Corri McFadden(E-Drop off, VH1 House of Consignment), Samantha Saifer-Berngard(Skoog Productions), Isaiah Freeman Schub(CS), Lynne Bredfeldt(Park Hyatt Chicago), Erica Strama(Shops at Northbridge), Daphne Ortiz(PRAlliance), Kristen Field(Step Up Women’s Network).
Guests took advantage of the exclusive first look and purchased items from the new collection with 10% of the proceeds benefitting stepup Women’s Network. Guests in attendance included Andrea Schwartz(VP of Media Relations and Cause Marketing at Macy’s), Jena Gambaccini(Chi City Fashion), Raijean Stroud (Swa Rai), Alexis Nido-Russo(CS), Chelsea Lavin, Kerry and Sally Shorr, Jessica Zweig(CheekyChicago),Bridget White. DJ Megan Taylor was the dj for evening. Guest were treated to a gift bag that included a new copy of CS mag and a rad chain link necklace.
A lot of the pieces from the new collection can definitely go from work to play. I loved that even though it was raining+sleeting, some of the guests had on some killer shoes
The ladies of Shop E-drop off whose new show House of Consignment debuts on VH1 March 21, were also there.
