ARCHITECTURAL DIGEST HOSTS 2ND ANNUAL AD OASIS AT ART BASEL

Architectural Digest hosted their second annual AD Oasis Miami during Art Basel Miami Beach. With this being my first year at Art Basel, this was definitely a great respite from all the walking and partying. The Oasis was setup at the Raleigh Hotel. There were different areas setup for different experiences and a pretty cool DJ Lineup. DJ’s such as The MisShapes, Paul Sevigny, DJ Equal, Timo & Alan, Mike Nouveau and Mia Moretti, entertained guests during the day and evening festivities. GE Monogram culinary demonstrations with Chef Joe Castro, Brian Logsdon and spirits expert Michael Green was done all three days with different dishes featured, held at the custom built GE Monogram® outdoor kitchen and culinary pavilion. From the hosted bar with Grey Goose, Disaronno,
Starbucks Verismo to the manicures, facial, leg massage by Exhale Spa and Clarisonic guests definitely had best of both worlds.

To add to the experience, Breguet, the luxury Swiss watch company flew in their master engraver Daniel Till for the weekend as guests marveled as his work. Guests that stopped by the AD Oasis Miami included Paz de la Huerta, Stephen Dorff, Kate Mara, Zosia Mamet, Jane Seymour,Scout Willis, Daniel Sunjata, Nick Valensi, Fabrizio Moretti, chef Spike Mendelsohn.

Artist Tes One created a stunning piece during the experience. On the 2nd night, AD100
AD100 designer Mark Cunningham, who  collaborated with Sunbrella to bring the space to life incorporating color and clean geometry inspired by minimalist artists such as Ellsworth
Kelly and Sol Lewitt, was celebrated with a cocktail reception. The Napoleon Fireplaces lit up the area giving it was sexy glow.
Multidisciplinary design duo Kai & Sunny created a series of original silk screened prints which was sold to raise funds during the Caesarstone Happy Hour. Saturday morning had a yoga, beauty and breakfast experience which was so needed.
AT&T also provided charging stations, which was so clutch since I forgot my chargers while out one of those days. The AD Oasis Miami was a hit and everyone that worked on this did a great job!
