One of our Social Diary items was last night’s (10/24) event at Barneys NY Chicago. The Children’s Research Fund friends and supporters came out to raise funds while sipping and noshing. The event held on the 2nd FL of the Barneys NY store on Rush & Oak saw some of Chicago philanthropic ladies and gent making the scene for a great cause. Since it was a fundsraiser, guests were encouraged to purchase keys and each key was a chance to win some fabulous prizes including a very chic Celine bag. The night was also celebration of the launch of makeup artist Troy Surratt’s line at the store where he previewed some of the lines products including the tipped liquid liner.

Also last night at the Neiman Marcus store on Michigan Avenue, GQ Magazine hosted an event for the Ralph Lauren Black label in the newly redesigned Men’s Store.
