Summer officially kicked off just before memorial day weekend this past Wednesday(May 23) with some of Chicago’s finest guys & gals about town, when Urbandaddy and Ketel One hosted a swank chillfab* party at the newly remodeled ROOF on The Wit. The event, dubbed “Toast to the Modern Gentleman” had more than a few dapper dressed eye candy to go around.
With signature cocktails like the Ketel One Gimlet being passed around alongside oysters, mini sliders and individual shrimp cocktails, combined with the great weather and view from ROOF the party was awesome! There was no fighting for a drink at the bar or egregious revelers. The Justin Hellman Jazz trio provided music that complemented the atmosphere and guests were able to mingle with each other with ease. The ROOF on the Wit Hotel on State/Lake recently debut their new retractable rooftop which I’m sure will draw crowds as the temperature rises in the city(be sure to ask for Johnny/Moshe). Barry Brecheisen, one of my fave photographers who shoots for Getty Images, was there snapping pics away. Some of Chicago’s finest gents and PYT ladies in attendance included: James Goeke, Megan Goulette, Jonny Immerman, Kevin Aeh, Mel Muoio, D.C Crenshaw, James Feeley, Audarshia Townsend, Cameron Croft, Jerry Kleiner, Monica Dimperio, Tim Huizenga and many other fun people.
