Last night at the Chicago Illuminating company space in the south loop, guests dined on sumptuous dishes from Chefs Julius Russell and Mycheal Bonner, sipped tastings of Diageo wines and imagined themselves in the all new 2015 Lexus NX 300h while swaying to music from DJ Mike. The event was part of Uptown Magazine’s 5 city event partnership with Diageo and Lexus which kicked off in Atlanta, and will be making stops in Dallas, Washington, D.C. and San Jose, Calif.

Uptown Magazine co-founder and Publisher Len Burnett was on hand to welcome guests and talk about the initiative as well as letting everyone know about next years inaugural Uptown Food & Wine Festival taking place in Napa with Silverado.
Eager and hungry guests were served tastings paired with wine. Gazpacho shooters with smoked brioche croutons, braised beef with lobster and truffle butter, Mag Mile’ Maki and lobster were some of the selections of food with
Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Malbec.



A fun night overall.
