SULLIVAN’S SUMMER SOLSTICE

On Thursday June 19, the Auditorium Theatre of Roosevelt University kicked off their summer season for the second annual “Sullivan’s Summer Solstice.” 125 guests were welcomed onto the historic landmark stage—designed by Louis Sullivan nearly 125 years ago—to soak up the summer heat with music, cocktails, auctions and more. All proceeds went to programming and operations for the Auditorium.

Auditorium Theatre Executive Director Brett Batterson noted that this fall will begin a year-long celebration of the Auditorium Theatre’s 125th birthday.
As guests made their way onto the festively decorated Sollitt Stage, they were greeted with a specialty cocktail by Reyka Vodka and bites.


Mel and Renee Katten, Bruce and Deborah Crown, Reyka Vodka, Goose Island, The City Lights Orchestra, Food for Thought were some of the sponsors of the event.
EVERYDAY PEOPLE CHICAGO BRUNCH WITH TWEET, CHEF ROBLE & DARK & LOVELY AU NATURALE

On Sunday June 29, Dark and Lovely Au Naturale and the Everyday People brunch series took place at Untitled. The afternoon featured special performance by singer Tweet as well as a menu curated by Bravo TV’s star Chef Roble and music provided by DJ Moma and Saada Ahmed, DJ Rich Knight. Guests also had a chance to learn about Dark and Lovely Au Naturale from SoftSheen–Carson’s Director of Education Mezei Jefferson.


SOHO HOUSE CHICAGO SATELITE NIGHT

On Saturday, June 28 at the Kinzie Train Depot, the likes of Twin Shadow, Hebru Brantley and Floyd Davis of Artpentry revelaed kick ass artwork, Cody Hudson, KIT, The Post Family, JC Steinbrunner (The Salon Series), Fabrice Calmels, Donnie Madia, Catherine De Orio, Leslie Baum, Mike Perry & Austin Keultjes (DJ Supreme Cuts), Todd Diederich, were in attendance for the Soho House Chicago Pre-Launch Party & Art Talk and Satellite Nights.
