Look Inside The Making Of The Biggest Fashion Party

Fashion’s biggest night happens on the first Monday of May aka Met Ball and a new documentary, titled The First Monday in May is taking us behind the scenes of not only the gala but the exhibit that precludes it. The world premiere of Magnolia Pictures’ The First Monday in May will open the 2016 Tribeca Film Festival (TFF), its 15th edition, on Wednesday, April 13 running until April 24.





The documentary which explores The Metropolitan Museum of Art’s most attended Costume Institute exhibition ever, “China: Through the Looking Glass,” is directed by Andrew Rossi (Page One), highlighting art, fashion and culture set around such an iconic museum.

Appearances from Anna Wintour, Karl Lagerfeld, Jean Paul Gaultier, Andre Leon Talley, Andrew Bolton to name a few.
