Today is National Margarita Day and to celebrate we’ve rounded up a few spots around Chicago to partake. If you don’t feel like going out to celebrate National Margarita Day, we’ve included a recipe below you can make at home.

And if you don’t feel like venturing out, you can always stay home and make something like this recipe below.
1½ oz. Reposado Tequila 100% Blue Agave
1 oz Orange Juice
1 oz Grapefruit Juice
1 oz Lime Juice
1 oz Simple Syrup (equal parts water and sugar mixed on stove until sugar is dissolved then cooled)
½ oz Grand Marnier (if you don’t have Grand Marnier, you can substitute it with any orange flavored liqueur like triple sec or unsweetened orange juice concentrate or orange juice)
Add all ingredients into shaker filled with ice, shake vigorously and strain into a margarita glass or tumbler glass with/without salted rim. If you prefer a frozen then pour all items into a blender Garnish with an lime and orange peel.
For those not wanting to go through all that work, Tres Agaves makes a solid margarita mix low in sugar but still delicious!
