Celebs pitching their next big movie project or looking to get away from the LA sun all descended upon Park City last week for the annual Sundance Film Festival which goes until Jan. 30. TAO, the popular nightclub with outposts in Las Vegas and NYC, setup shop once again in Park City this year and the buzz of Sundance 2016, Nate Parker, was in attendance. With the record $17.5 mil bid for his upcoming “Birth of A Nation” he was at the nightclub celebrating with Chicago area native and Birth of a Nation investor Michael Finley at TAO Park City Presented by Tequila Don Julio Sunday night. The exclusive pop-up nightclub experience had Don Julio 1942 Tequila and Moet Nectar Rose flowing all night with some guest even rocking the outerwear that dominated Sundance, Moose Knuckles coats. The cool kids joining Parker and Finley on the scene included Mia Moretti, Adrian Grenier, Armie Hammer with wife Elizabeth Chambers, Austin Stowell, the newly engaged DJ Ruckus, Andre Holland with DJ Politik spinning. Word on the street is that TAO might potentially be headed to Chicago next, taking over the Castle space on N. Dearborn.
