The 11th Annual Steppenwolf Auxiliary Council Red or White Ball took place at West loop’s Venue One which was awash with glowing red lights to exude a sexy vibe. A VIP reception kicked off the evening with specialty cocktails from CH Distillery and food menu from RA, Summer House Santa Monica and Geja’s Cafe. VIP’s, General ticket holders and guests were ushered into the main room with stations of food prepared by the Venue team (Rachel Demarte James DeMarte, auction items and a DJ playing.

Steppenwolf ensemble member Tarell Alvin McCraney a MacArthur Foundation Genius Grantee served as honorary chair. Jennifer Stuart served as event chair with co-chairs Aimee Graham, Ryan Stafford, Tanya Stanfield all in attendance.

Red or White ball had a diverse mix of young professionals and some of Chicago’s next generation civic and philanthropic leaders.

In addition to the photo booth action, DJ, flowing drinks and food, guests had a plethora of silent auction items to bid on.

Proceeds from the Red or White Ball benefit Steppenwolf for Young Adults, the theater’s nationally recognized arts education program,
The event went into the night(ended 12:30).
