The Gene Siskel Film Center of the School of the Art Institute of Chicago welcomed over 200 guests on the night of February 26 to celebrate Hollywood’s biggest night, The Oscar’s. The event, known as Chicago’s longest-running Oscar® viewing party took on a very Hollywood on State:Where you are the star theme this year with MasterChef star and fashion designer Tommy Walton and host of The Soul Salon NK Gutiérrez serving as red carpet co-hosts!

Mary Walker Kilwien and Chuck Droege, both members of the Siskel Film Center advisory board co-chaired the fundraising event which also recognize these filmmakers Lonnie Edwards, Lori Felker, Jennifer Reeder, and Michael Smith for their excellent work in film and dedication to Chicago.
Guests dined on bites and libations from some of Chicago’s favorites inclduing Eli’s Cheesecake, CH Distillery, Rosebud Prime, Gayle’s Grilled Cheese, Santa Margherita to name a few.
