Bake an Olive Oil Cake To Enjoy Like Kylie Jenner

Beauty mogul Kylie Jenner trolled fans that had something to say about the way she cut an olive oil cake she received for Mother’s Day on May 10. It all started on her Insta Stories where she shared a full round cake but instead of cutting a pie shape straight from the center, she cut a slight triangular piece then telling her followers “Ok this olive oil cake, wow.”
Then she came back to troll the people that had issues with her cutting the “so unreal” cake so weird by cutting a circle piece out of the cake writing “people were very disturbed I cut my cake how i did so this is for those people.”

Cake cutting manner aside, we wanted to know who delivered the dang cake, but though she didn’t give away the bakery that delivered the cake, we did find a recipe for Olive Cake from Food and Wine that you can make, to make it just like Kylie’s you may want to dust the top with confectioners sugar and garnish with a rosemary.
LIGURIAN OLIVE OIL CAKE
Active Time: 20 Minutes
Total Time: 50 Minutes
Serves : one 10-inch cake
INGREDIENTS
7 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted, plus more for greasing
1 3/4 cups all-purpose flour, plus more for dusting
1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
1/4 teaspoon salt 3/4 cup extra-virgin olive oil
3 tablespoons whole milk, at room temperature
4 large eggs, at room temperature
1 cup sugar
Finely grated zest of 2 lemons or tangerines
HOW TO MAKE IT
Step 1
Preheat the oven to 350°. Butter and flour a 10-inch round cake pan.
Step 2
Into a medium bowl, sift together the 1 3/4 cups of flour, baking powder and salt. In another medium bowl, whisk the melted butter with the olive oil and milk.
Step 3
In a large bowl, using a handheld mixer, beat the eggs with the sugar and citrus zest until pale and thickened, about 3 minutes. Alternately beat in the dry and wet ingredients, starting and ending with the dry ingredients. Pour the batter into the prepared pan. Bake for about 30 minutes, until the cake is golden brown and the side pulls away from the pan. Transfer the cake to a rack and let cool before serving.
IF you want to go the extra mile to look like the cake Jenner consumed, dust with some confectioners sugar and garnish with a rosemary sprig.
