Ralph’s Coffee Opens In Ralph Lauren Flagship Chicago store
Ralph Lauren has blessed our Mag mile and the great city of Chicago with another upmarket culinary destination! When the man known to have set to bar for luxury American fashion made his foray into Food and Bev/Hospitality, Chicago was the first destination for an RL restaurant which opened in 1999, and til today, its still one of the best places to dine in the city not just because of its good food, but the service, the ambiance and location. Now the Ralph Lauren brand is bringing their beloved Ralph’s Coffee to Chicago. The newest North America location will be located inside the Ralph Lauren flagship (750 N. Michigan Avenue).
Fun Fact: Of all the Ralph’s Coffee locations across the globe including London, Munich, Tokyo, Beijing, Doha, Miami, the Chicago location is only the second one located inside a Ralph Lauren flagship, the Madison Avenue location in NYC has the first.
Ralph’s coffee opens in Chicago November 18 on Chicago’s Magnificent Mile, adjacent to RL Restaurant. The Ralph Lauren Flagship store features Ralph Lauren Home, Women’s Collection and Polo Apparel and Accessories, Men’s Purple Label and Polo Apparel and Accessories, Men’s and Women’s Double RL, and Children’s Apparel and Accessories. The city of Chicago’s first-ever Ralph’s Coffee will serve Ralph’s Coffee special blends, espresso and teas, along with pastries, overnight oats, yogurts, and some of Ralph Lauren’s favorite sweet treats made fresh daily, including Ralph’s Brownie and Ralph’s Chocolate Chip Cookie. The 16-seat shop features design details such as coffered mahogany ceilings, herringbone wood floors, crisp wainscoting and custom wallcovering,welcomes guests with a custom millwork counter painted in Ralph’s Coffee signature hunter green, white marble counters and tabletops, antique bistro-style chairs, green channel tufted banquettes and a green marble fireplace mantle. The waitstaff will wear Ralph Lauren striped shirts and knit ties in Ralph’s Coffee green, along with denim and aprons embroidered with the Ralph’s Coffee logo. The iconic logo is also highlighted in the space in the form of both neon and backlit signs.
Ralph’s Coffee special blends—Ralph’s Roast, Decaf, and Espresso—are made from USDA organic coffees and feature organically grown beans from Central and South America and Africa. The beans are roasted and packaged in the US by La Colombe, and the all-natural Swiss Water Process is used to decaffeinate.
