According to WWD, designer Peter Dundas is parting ways with Roberto Cavalli effective immediately, having shown his final collection for the brand (for spring 2017) during Milan Fashion Week September 2016. Dundas was named the creative director of Roberto Cavalli SpA in 2015. This might be a wave of cleaning house as the brands former CEO, Renato Semerari, exited and was replaced by a new CEO, Gian Giacomo Ferraris in July. Dundas’s designs can be seen on many glittery celebs including Ciara’s wedding dress, Kim Kardashian’s 2016 Met ball dress and many more. This continues the ongoing fashion musical chairs.
