The newly re-opened NoMI restaurant at the Park Hyatt Chicago (800 N. Michigan Avenue) is hosting their first “Taste of NoMI” dining series and its set to take place on Tuesday July 12 from 6pm. Guests are invited to experience an evening showcasing traditional Japanese cuisine contextualized within the signature Chicago restaurant perched seven floors above the city below in the iconic Park Hyatt Chicago. The dinner will be held in the NoMI Kitchen private dining space overlooking Water Tower and Lake Michigan. Taste of NoMI: The Japanese Experience

Guided by NoMI Executive Chef Terence Zubieta and Breakthru’s Sake Expert Tona Palomino, the reception and 6-course tasting menu will span the breadth of Japanese cuisine alongside curated wine and sake pairings. Guests will discover street-food favorites like fried Karaage Chicken and refined sushi dishes like the Aburi Beni Toro, rich salmon belly lightly charred by an open flame and finished with a whiskey barrel-aged soy sauce. NoMI is located on the seventh floor of the Park Hyatt Chicago hotel.
