Rosé wine is my bougie behaving, yuppie life loving, baller on a budget drink of choice for the summer and I’m not the only one because stats shows there’s no slowing down its popularity or demand. According to a report, in 2007 the region of Provence exported 5 million liters of the pin stuff and last year that number reached almost 30 million liters. Outside of France, the US is the number one consumer of refreshing, fruity, sometimes dry rosés.
According to Victor Lebel of the Provence Rose Group which produces the Provence Château de Berne, as the Champagne region of France has been able to successfully mark the region to make it synonymous with bubbly champagne drinks, they want to do the same for Rosé wine and the Provence region which produces authentic and some of the best rosé in the world to be called that so is the Provence region of France. Here are some Provence rosé wines to refresh yourself with this summer. They are perfect for light gathering, picnics(just put it in a plastic bottle) or bring more than one to a cookout.
