Unless you are very, very very disconnected from the world and world of sports-which if that’s the case let’s remedy that- the Chicago Blackhawks are playing for the chance to once again bring the Stanley Cup back to Chicago (H double hockey sticks yeah!). The most coveted thing outside of having Grant Achatz privately cook for you and 8 of your closest friends or a lifetime supply of Karlsson vodka are tickets to the game. Not just any type of ticket but 100 level glass seats preferably behind the home team (section 101, 102)
The game is best of 7 and if the Blackhawks take care of business they can sweep this series by Thursday June 6 in Los Angeles but if not the final game will be played here IN CHICAGO on Wednesday June 12. So it’s a short term lust but being front and center, hearing the swish and swoosh of the blades along the cold ice, the slaps of the hockey sticks, the bang on the wall as players slam each other but most importantly the deafening, roaring cheer of Blackhawks fans inside United Center as a goal is made is the greatest feeling. Let’s bring the win home for Chicago #GOHAWKS.
