The Joffrey Women’s Board held their annual Spring Gala with this year’s theme of ‘We All Speak Dance’ raising $1.1 million for The Joffrey Ballet’s programming and community engagement programs.
The ticket prices started at $750 thus some of Chicago’s deep pocketed and well heeled made the scene. The evening began with a performance of pieces selected by Joffrey Ballet Artistic Director Ashley Wheater, culminating with a high powered up tempo collective piece by the Joffrey dancers.
Following the performance, guests were transported in trolleys to nearby Chicago Hilton for reception replete with a flamenco dancer and dinner in the grand ballroom transformed by the team at Kehoe Designs.
