Actor Idris Elba is officially off the market, again. The 45 year old, proposed to his 29-year-old girlfriend Sabrina Dhower, a former Ms. Vancouver of Somali descent whom he met while filing in Canada. Elba popped the question over the weekend during the screening of his new film Yardie at the Rio Cinema in Dalston, London with movie goers clapping after she said yes.
The theater’s official twitter account wrote: “Another @riocinema first!“Still 5 days to Valentines Day but @idriselba went down on one knee and proposed to his girlfriend live on stage this morning before a preview of his film #Yardie”
“She said yes and there was much clapping and cheering.”
Back in August 2017, Elba was spotted with her, though at the time she was just a “mystery woman” they took their relationship public when she joined him walking the red carpet at the Toronto International Film Festival.
Idris Elba is father to 15-year old daughter Isan with ex Kim and a three year old son Winston with his recent ex girlfriend Naiyana Garth. Idris has been married twice before, to Hanne ‘Kim’ Norgaard from 1999 until 2003 and to Sonya Nicole Hanklin in 2006.
