Keith Lamont Scott. We are already midweek and another black man has been shot by police officers. An officer of the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department fatally shot Keith Lamont Scott near a housing complex in Charlotte. Following news of the incident, what began as a peaceful protest early Tuesday night turned violent with 11 people treated for non-life threatening injuries and 12 officers injured. With no video evidence released, there are 2 conflicting reports of how the event unfolded; officers said he was armed with a gun, witnesses said he was reading a book and disabled. • A 12 year old boy has been charged with committing three armed robberies in six days in the Chicago neighborhood of River North, according to DNA Info. The crimes all occurred between 8 and 9:30 p.m. on Sept 14-15 and Monday.

Selena Gomez has also found herself wrapped into this and there also might have been flirtations with the nanny. • NYC Ballet’s 5th Fall Fashion Gala took place last night at Lincoln Center with attendees including Diane Kruger, co-chair Sarah Jessica Parker and Matthew Broderick, Julianna Margulies and Keith Lieberthal. 4 designers: Narciso Rodriguez, Dries Van Noten, Rosie Assoulin and Jason Wu designed costumes for the dancers.
