Targeted attack. Two Chicago police officers are in stable condition after being shot and wounded when two vehicles pulled up beside them on Tuesday, in what CPD called a targeted attack. The officers, who were in plain clothes, were on duty in a follow-up investigation to a previous incident. CPD believes that the officers were the intended targets. • Planned Parenthood’s 100th Anniversary gala took place Tuesday night in NYC and the star studded event which attracted the liked of Meryl Streep, Shonda Rhimes, Chelsea Handler were overshadowed by 2016 presidential candidate Hillary Clinton. This was her second public appearance that day; the first being at the Women for Women International luncheon in which she spoke a bit candidly. Scarlett Johansson, Julianne Moore, America Ferrera, Tina Fey and husband Jeff Richmond, Harvey Weinstein and designer Georgina Chapman, Jeffrey Wright, Martha Plimpton, Kate Walsh, Annette Bening, Diane von Furstenberg and Former New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg were all in attendance at the Planned Parenthood gala.
