EPSTEIN SCANDAL NETSince the death of Jeffrey Epstein, his victims have been vocal about not being able to get justice since charges against him have been dropped but justice might come in another form if many of the associates linked to Epstein are named in “almost 10,000 pages of court documents that could become public.” One of the victims, Virginia Roberts sued Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell in 2015, and during a Wednesday court appearance, her attorney said that the remaining files implicate ‘literally hundreds of people’……Read more


  • LOCAL/CHICAGO: Singer Chicago’s going to have some national attention Thursday evening as the NFL hosts its first watch party a free ‘NFL Experience Festival’ at Grant Park. There will be special performances by Meek Mill, Meghan Trainor and Rapsody. It takes place before the Bears vs Packers game and a day after NFL chief Roger Goodell joined mayor Lori Lightfoot in cleanup of Douglas Park. His Chicago connection? he is married to a former news anchor who was raised in Lake Forest and their wedding took place at  Lake Forest First Presbyterian Church.


  • NATIONAL:  Fortis Dulos, the estranged husband of Connecticut mom of 5, Jennifer Dulos, has been arrested again in connection to her disappearance and possibly murder.  The Connecticut State Police released a new warrant alleging a truck he had access to had contained her DNA. Also, according to CNN, the estranged husband’s girlfriend Michelle Troconis “told police he had the truck cleaned days later, “because the body of Jennifer at some point was in there.”” CNN hosted a climate town hall Wednesday with some of the democratic front runners in the presidential election though Biden’s eyes is all we could talk about.


  • WORLD:  Foreign aid is beginning  to arrive in the Bahamas as the Island deals with the devastation left behind from hurricane Dorian. Dorian is gaining strength to now category 3 and headed towards the Carolinas. Not related to Dorian but in some wild world news, a rooster named Maurice can continue doing what it does best, crowing at dawn, after a noise hating neighbor Jean-Louis Biron took the case to court. Its a cock victory for the old rural way of life that come of France’s modern city dwellers who buy homes in the country aren’t prepared for.


  • Top Boy on Netflix had its premiere party Wednesday in London. The show was revived, after airing back in 2011 to a cult following in the UK but then dropped in 2013, in part thanks to Drake who’s listed as an Executive Producer. The show follows the lives of Dushane and his friend Sully in the underground drugs business. According to The Evening Standard, all ten episodes of season 3 will be released on Netflix on Friday September 13, 2019; along with the first 2 season for those that want to catch up.


  • Kevin Hart’s on the road to recovery but that doesn’t mean some {me, I’m some) are not trying to piece together exactly what happened that evening that led to the crash and if there’s more to it? So the story goes he was out for a ride in his 1970 Plymouth Barracuda with two other people, one being his wife Eniko’s trainer Rebecca Broxterman and her fiance Jared Black. Reports note that Black was the driver though a witness at the crash site referred to Hart as the driver because he was extracted from the drivers side of the car. Now it gets interesting, Hart was picked up by his security team and taken home to his house then a 911 call was made by someone that may have been his wife; meanwhile paramedics had to saw off the car’s roof to get the other two, who were left at the scene, out. TMZ reports that doctors repaired three fractures to Hart’s spine. 



  • Designer Christian Louboutin was honored on Wednesday at the Couture Council Luncheon benefit that raised more than $1 million for the Museum at FIT co-chaired by Amelia Quist-Ogunlesi and Melissa Mafrige-Mithoff. Guests in attendance at the Nordstrom sponsored fete  at Lincoln Center’s David H. Koch Theater were: Nordstrom Co-President Erik Nordstrom, Diane Von Furstenberg, Nordstrom Co-President of Stores Jamie Nordstrom, Veronica Webb, fashion influencer Blaire Eadie, Fern Mallis, Ali Wentworth, Hamish Bowles, to name a few. In other fashion news, The LVMH Prize for young designers was awarded to South Africa’s Thebe Magugu, first African designer to take home the prize since its inception in 2013. Magugu, who was presented the award by Alicia Vikander, won €300,000 plus one-year business mentorship  provided by the LVMH group. Celebrated fashion photographer Peter Lindbergh has died at age 74. He most recently shot the British Vogue September issue guest edited by HRH Duchess of Sussex Meghan Markle.
