The intial reports of projected first round picks includes several Ohio State Buckeyes including Ezekiel “Zeke” Elliott who just inked an undisclosed sum deal with Nike, Joey Bosa, Darron Lee and Eli Apple in top 25. • So Ted Cruz, who was gaining momentum at some point during his presidential campaign which is now on life support according to pundits, announced Carly Fiorina as his vice president running mate in an attempt to inject some energy into it. But then he went to his rally in Indiana held in a gym made famous by the film “Hoosiers,” and that’s when well Ted Cruz pulled a Cruz calling a basketball hoop a ring! Meanwhile Trump’s Indiana campaign has the support of fiery temper coach Bobby Knight who called him the “most prepared man in history” to run for president. Bernie Sanders who is still fighting in the race to the Whitehouse has reportedly began laying off some staffers.
• A hospital specializing in pediatrics in rebel-held area of Syria’s Aleppo, has sustained airstrikes that killed at least 27 people.
• A worker at Apple was found dead in an apparent suicide at the company’s Cupertino headquarters on Wednesday, a day after the company reported it’s first earning slump in years. Facebook announced another record quarter of revenue though CEO Mark Zuckerberg still only makes $1 but he owns nearly 422 million shares of Facebook stock and worth roughly $47.5 billion.
• Police in Sandy Springs doing wellness check on a homeless family living in a van also found 38 cats living inside said van. 41-year-old Alexandra Wingate and her mother, 70-year-old Sharyn Wingate had previous warrants out for their arrests on animal cruelty charges.

• Beyoncé kicked off her “Formation” tour in Miami’s Marlins Park to a sold-out crowd last night with outfits from DSquared2, Balmain, Gucci and Stuart Weitzman boots. The formation tour rolls into Chicago May 27 and 28 at Soldier Field. Speaking of Beyoncé, Rachel Roy who was scheduled to be part of a Chicago Humanities Festival panel, has cancelled; perhaps all this Becky talk is taking a toll. H/T to MCM.
• This just in: DreamWorks Animation has indeed been acquired by Comcast for $3.8 billion which will create a strong Disney rival but what will become of CEO Jeffrey Katzenberg? He will get $21.9 million if he leaves according to reports.
