FBI vs Trump Admin.  The Rob Porter saga does not seem to be ending anytime soon. On Tuesday during a Senate panel, FBI Director Christopher Wray, said the FBI submitted a partial report on its investigation into Porter in March 2017, it completed its background investigation in July 2017, and that it closed its file on Porter in January and most recently sent another report to the White House. This conflicts with the White House’s timeline and statement behind Porter’s resignation. Tuesday, White House Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders said the White House Personnel Security Office hadn’t made its final recommendations on Porter. The House Oversight Committee is now investigating how former White House staff secretary Rob Porter kept his role in the administration even as accusations of domestic abuse were made against him. In other Trump news, his long time personal attorney basically confirms a NYT and WSJ report that he paid porn star Stormy Daniels hush money though he denies what the money was for. • One person is wounded and another in custody after an early morning shooting in front of the National Security Agency (NSA) building in Fort Meade. The story is developing.
 
• In Chicago news: Chicago Police commander, Paul Bauer, the commander of the Near North District, was shot multiple times during in the Loop’s Thompson Center and he was pronounced dead at Northwestern Hospital.  According to reports, before the shooting, Central District tactical officers had spotted a suspicious man near State and Wacker. The man was wearing body armor and has a long felony record. Fashion blogger Hoda Katebi was on WGN TV Jan. 31 to talk about her book ‘Tehran Street Style.’ Katebi who grew up in Oklahoma and alum of University of Chicago, was then asked about nuclear weapons and then anchor Robin Baumgarten concluded the interview telling her ‘you do not sound American.’ 

• Chipotle has a new chief following months of bad headlines and. Taco Bell’s CEO Brian Niccol has been named the new CEO of Chipotle Mexican Grill and with that news its shares jumped 10%. Niccol had worked for Yum Brands Inc.’s Taco Bell since 2011 and an executive at Pizza Hut Inc. before that.

ENTERTAINMENT

• Luke Wilson, golfer Bill Haas were involved in a fatal car crash that’s left one person dead. Tuesday evening, an unamed driver of a Ferrari where Haas was a passenger in, crashed the car. A 50-year-old woman driving a BMW involved in the crash was taken to the hospital. Luke Wilson driving a Toyota FJ is believed to be unharmed and his car was only clipped in the accident. Four cars were involved in the collision.
•  Black Panther, the upcoming Marvel movie that set the record as one of the highest grossing presages movie held its New York City premiere Tuesday. Iman, Paris Hilton, Joan Smalls, Tyra Banks, were in attendance with stars Danira Gurira, Lupita Nyong’o, Chadwick Boseman, Micheal B. Jordan.  It is estimated Black Panther will rake in $170 million or more this weekend.

 

FASHION

• The 2018 BFC/Vogue Fashion Fund shortlist was announced Tuesday. Competing for the prize of £200,000 and a year-long mentorship will be David Koma, Huishan Zhang, Le Kilt, Marques’ Almeida, Molly Goddard and Rejina Pyo. Raf Simons, Calvin Klein creative director celeb following turned up for the F/W ’18. Nicole Kidman, Margot Robbie, A$AP Rocky, Cindy Crawford and Rande Gerber, Lupita Nyong’o, were all spotted in the front row. Nicki Minaj, has surfaced, on the pages of Vogue magazine’s March issue. The rapper is said to be off the radar working on a new album.
