Favorite Pinot Noir Wines To Celebrate National Pinot Noir Day

Pinot Noir are the unsung heroes of my vast love for wines. They’re the red wine you can drink any season; they’re not as tannic as Cabernet’s or Zinfandels and not as meh as Merlots and can have up to 15% ABV. Though pinot grapes thrive better in cooler climates, some of our faves hail from different regions and parts of the world like California’ Russian River Valley, Willamette Valley in Oregon, the Sonoma Coast, South Africa and even Chile. To celebrate National Pinot Noir Day on August 18, I’ve selected some of my favorite pinot noir for you to consider on your next purchase. Uncork or unscrew a bottle and pair it with your favorite charcuterie choices, dinner or just by itself as I like to enjoy mine, because listen its 5 O’clock somewhere and these days, wine in moderation has been helpful in getting through some of the challenges. We’ve also included a selection of wines from black owned wineries and makers noted with *.
