Let’s preface this by acknowledging that said author of this post has not stepped into a JCPenney in AGES! EONS more like it, disclaimer complete. When word got out late last year that Duro Olowu was collaborating with JC Penny, fashion ears and eyes perked up. Duro Olowu is what we would like to call one of your favorite insider’s favorite designer. The construction, prints of his clothes are just amazing, even the first lady of fashion Mrs. Michelle Obama is a fan. Lucky for you and I, we can bask in that certain Duro Olowu glamour for a fraction of the price. If you are a Chicago resident you are probably asking yourself, “umm where’s JC Penny?” There are a few locations which you can find HERE once you’ve located the closest(they are all kinda far if you are centrally located in the city) it’s time to choose what to get.
