I got dose-d and loved it! Dose Market is a monthly marketstyle fusion of food and fashion at the River East Arts center. Since its debut last Summer, I’m embarassed to say it was my first time attending. The thing is I’ve always planned to go but somehow never made it for some reason or the other and I’m glad I made it out especially with the gorgeous weather we had this weeekend. The River East Arts center was alive with chic folks on the hunt for their next great vintage find, spices to accent special dish, a hard to find vintage frame, local made jam or just to take in the scenery. I got a chance to stop by the Sir and Madame area and was taken aback by THE BAG!
This bag is large and stylish enough to go from gym to work to after work cocktails. I described it to a friend as being able to fit 5 heads. They won’t have the bag in for another 3 weeks but you can call them to inquire on pricing. The other memorable vendors included Stus and their really delicious but sour(in a good way) bloody mary mix, Azzeza Desai Khan’s Atelier AZZA, Lezzet Spices and the kumquat tarragon honey jam from Rare Bird Preserves is just as heavenly as it sounds. I wish I could have tasted more of everything being offered by the vendors but alas I gave up sweets and starches for lent. Some familiar faces getting dosed included: Lynette Astaire, Marc Moran, Monica Dimperio, Brandy Middleton, Brian and Autumn Merrit, April Francis,
