The highly anticipated Del Frisco’s steakhouse held their VIP grand opening launch party last Thursday(11/29). Del Frisco’s, located in the newly revamped Esquire Theatre space on Oak Street, is two floors of steakhouse gloriousness. Walking in we were immediately greeted ,by one of the many attentive staff on hand that night, with a glass of wine or champagne. The food spread was absolutely divine from the seafood table to the different passed hors d’oeuvres served throught the night. The restaurant is on 2 floors and the booths are quite spacious. Every single detail within Del Frisco’s was amazing including the wine cellar/room that has a spiral staircase within it, so cool! the top floor of the restaurant featured a live band and guests later on danced the night away on the spacious dance floor. Del Frisco’s grand opening charity partner was the Big Shoulder’s Fund. In the mix helping to welcome Chicago’s newest grand steakhouse were: Catrice Armstrong, David Zapata, Juanita Jordan, Fletcher Smith, Robin and Mark Tebbe, James Goeke, Bradley Dineen, Jon Najarian, Candace Jordan Alexis Cozzini, Kerry and Sally Shorr and many others. A guest even commented that this is going to be her go to spot to entertain clients. Thursday was a great night to cover events in the city. I was duly surprised and equally excited as I was walking around to see Kevin Liles, former EVP of Warner Music Group and a huge deal in music and marketing world, there. Chicago is ready for Del Frisco’s and can’t wait to go back and try their lunch and dinner menu.
Del Frisco’s knows how to throw a Texas size party! Par Excellence is the only way to describe the quality of their food and service. Also went there for dinner on opening night and had the best dining experience ever. Manager Lindsey Gray made sure our experience was excellent. It has become my new “Go To Spot” to entertain my clients.
