JOURNELLE
- Journelle, a designer lingerie store based in New York and premier destination for curated luxury lingerie will open its first Chicago boutique on November 20 in Bucktown (1725 North Damen Ave.)! The Chicago boutique is their fifth location and the first outside of New York, following four openings in Manhattan. Journelle, launched in 2007 aims to create a luxurious lingerie mecca for the modern woman will carry bras, underwear, loungewear, accessories, shapewear, hosiery, and swimwear from well-known brands including Chantelle, Eberjey, Stella McCartney Lingerie, Heidi Klum Intimates, Natori, Triumph, and La Perla as well as emerging designers, such as L’Agent, Fortnight, Else Lingerie, Lonely, Mimi Holliday, Fleur of England, Dear Bowie, For Love + Lemons.
CrossTown Fitness Opens 2nd Location
- CrossTown Fitness will open its second location at 3600 N. Halsted St. (Halsted+Addison) on Monday Nov. 16. The 3,000 sq ft facility will provide signature HIIT group fitness classes, personal training and open gym, which will be available for both members and non-members. It will be open Monday-Friday, 5am to 9pm; Saturday-Sunday 7am to 5pm.

PROPERSUIT CUSTOM COLLECTIVE
- Custom Collective is back on Thursday Nov. 19 from 6-10pm and and they are partnering with other custom and made-to-measure clothing designers, merchants, makers and enthusiasts for a one-night special event to bring everyone together in Proper Suit’s Chicago HQ & fit studio. Local Chicago menswear companies Peter Field Alterations & Tailoring and ZipFit Denim, and drinks from Helix Vodka and Defiant Whisky. RSVP HERE.
FGI night of stars
- On Thursday, November 12th over 200 gathered for Fashion Group International of Chicago’s Night of Stars gala chaired by Carrie Lannon at the Ritz-Carlton Chicago to honor luminaries from the fashion and design world including Neiman Marcus’ Fashion Director and Senior VP Ken Downing, Nina Mariano, Clé de Peau Beauté, Badgley Mischka, Ippolita. Nate Berkus PR Director Krista Blair accepted the Stargazer Interiors Award on behalf of Nate Berkus who was unable to make it.

Monica Vinader Launches at Nordstrom & Saks Fifth Avenue
- Luxury British jewelry line Monica Vinader is launching in the United States and six pieces from her holiday collection will be available the week of November 23rd at Chicago area Nordstrom. Up until recently, the brand has only been available to the U.S. customer online via Net-a-Porter and their website.
