The UK’s “largest purveyor of fine shirts” Charles Tyrwhitt commemorated its British invasion of Chicago with a cocktail reception Wednesday (10/15) night.

Charles Tyrwhitt “opened its doors in the Windy City this past winter “and the brand’s Founder and Chairman Nick Wheeler and CEO Greg Hodder were in attendance for this reception.

Charles Tyrwhitt counts legions of well dressed men as clients such as CBS 2 Chicago morning news anchor Kris Gutierrez who raved about his first encounter with the brand while working in NYC and why he continues to wear it.

Some of the guests in attendance checking out the stores’ selections and enjoying the sounds of The Nick Mazzarella Trio, included Check Please! host Catherine De Orio, CBS 2 Chicago weekday anchor Rob Johnson, restaurateurs Bill Kim(Belly Q) and Julie Latsko(Table 52), James Goeke, Jessica Moazami, DC Crenshaw, Quentin Schumacher to name a few.




The news store is located right in the financial district (208 South LaSalle Street). To show their commitment to Chicago, Charles Tyrwhitt released limited edition cuff links emblazoned with the Chicago flag.
