Saks Fifth Avenue Men’s Store hosted a Fashion & Philanthropy event to benefit the Center on Halsted on Wednesday April 18 . The event, served as a fundraiser as well as kick off for their upcoming Human First Gala May 12 hosted by BravoTV’s Andy Cohen, featured a fashion show with looks curated by Saks Fifth Avenue’s Eric Jennings- Vice President, Fashion Director for Menswear.
The Center on Halsted has been breaking ground and doing amazing things to help those in the LGBT community including a recently launched program with $6 million grant from the CDC and they are in the process of building the Midwest first affordable housing for LGBT.
Eric Jennings introduced looks for every occasion: Professional, casual and even black tie like the upcoming Human First gala. He noted that men have been taking fashion more seriously. Some of the looks introduced incorporated brogue style shoes, wayfarers, skinny ties, Nudie Jeans and skinny cargo pants.
