Men in suits! Men in suits! There were lots of men in suits at the 88th Annual Academy awards and we loved some of the looks more than others. The Oscars serves as the culmination of awards season’s fashion parade. Though the men weren’t as daring in color and prints Sunday night on the Oscars red carpet, their picks, or shall we say what they collaborated with their stylists on, sure caught our attention. The night belonged to Leonardo DiCaprio as he finally won his first Oscar and he was dressed the part in made-to-measure Armani. These men opted for custom suits probably costing over $2,000 from brands such as Giorgio Armani, Versace, Gucci, Dolce & Gabbana, Valentino, Alexander McQueen, rather than off the rack. We applaud Chicago native Common for being daring but the white suit just did not hit the right note, though Chris Rock’s Burberry white jacket and black pants hit the right classy note. We are sure these best dressed men will serve as inspiration for that extra fancy shindig you may have to attend in the future.
