Museum of Contemporary Art's artEdge 2012 Gala


The Museum of Contemporary Art Chicago hosted their annual Winter benefit, artEdge on Saturday Feb. 4.  Honorary Chair mayor Rahm Emanuel who attended the event with wife Amy Rule, thanked guests .

The entireevening was catered by Wolfgang Puck Catering with Chef Wolfgang Puck flying into Chicago for this event! Design was done by HMR Design group and they proved why they are the go to design team for some of Chicago’s best events. SAIC’s  Nick Cave, whose soundsuits received national attention in a 10pg spread by American Vogue, gave guests a performance and George Clinton and the Parliament funk closed out the evening with a concert.

Guests in attendance included: SAIC President Walter Massey, John Hart(Hart Davis Hart Wine company) and Carol Prins, Brian Johnson and Ashley Wheater(Joffrey Ballet), Steve and Lois Eisen,Lauren Gold and Sasha Adler

The committee chairs for this event, that raised a little over $1 million were: Anne and Don Edwards, Liza and Marc Brooks, Bryan Traubert and Penny Pritzker.
