The scoop: Paintbrush Ball raised more than $760,000, the largest sum in the event’s history and an unprecedented success for the organization. DLA Piper partner and Marwen board member, Caryn Englander and Lee Miller, accepted the Marwen Impact Award, an award given to a supporter who has made a significant long-term commitment to Marwen’s mission. Sothebys Gary Metzner was auctioneer encouraging those in attendance to raise their paddles for the inaugural Follow Your Art Fund that was matched.

The scoop: Ahead of one of Chicago society’s anticipated summer gala, Zoo Ball, the Women’s Board of Lincoln Park zoo hosted an intimate reception to kick off this year’s Arctic Blast theme which will take place July 10th co-chaired by Karen Eisenbart and Denise Stefan Ginascol. President and CEO of Lincoln Park Zoo Kevin Bell along with Women’s Board President Kim Theiss and co-chairs made brief remarks. Alayna Crenshaw of Pomellato also announced that there will be a special pomellato necklace in the auction at Zoo Ball.

The scoop: Rent the Runway celebrated the opening of their Chicago storefront with a private launch event. The evening featured drinks by Femme du Coupe, light fare by Boutique Bites, music by DJ Lani Love.
