Besides a good dance jam session courtesy of our favorite Chicago DJs (Megan Taylor, Whiteshadow, DOLO, Matt Roan), here at SociaLifeChicago drinking(responsibly) is always encouraged and something we love to partake in. Not in the I want to get shit faced wasted and blackout sense but a good drink or two, responsibly is great but the thing is we don’t talk about that enough here, I mean we are a social site after all. With that being said, this is the perfect week to debut “What’s your After 5 potion”
potion: a mixture of liquids (as liquor or medicine)
After a long day of work or meetings, crazy bosses and co-workers, there’s nothing better than unwinding with a good glass of wine, glass full of your favorite liquor from Ceres, a well made cocktail or good beer.
Yeaaa you know you want to head on over to Big Star and get close to that drink.
Chicago is finally basking in its sunshine glory and the weather is predicted to hit 79 degrees tomorrow (Tuesday) which means butts will be planted on patios and rooftops. Our favorite spot to patio drink is….Big Star! and for us the La Paloma was made for unwinding while enjoying copious amounts of tacos. Its a tequila based drink with grapefruit but if you’re not careful you will down it like you drink your sanpellegrino limonata and five or so cocktails later you may need help getting home .
