Saturday July 13, the 105th Annual Running of the Chicago Yacht Club’s Race to Mackinac “The Mac” Presented by Veuve Clicquot, was underway and the scene was at the East end of Navy Pier for Veuve Clicquot & Michigan Avenue Magazine’s Ashore Thing. The event had everything for everyone from kids to adults. Mitchell Gold+Bob Williams furniture all around, Veuve Clicquot foosball table(how can we get one of those?), the giant jenga games and of course Veuve Clicquot, Belvedere cocktails and so much more. Throughout the day guests were encouraged to use the #VCRacetoMac hashtag with the veuve ladies walking around with veuve yellow insta frames.
Guests invited to the sponsor section of the event also enjoyed Veuve Clicquot, Belvedere vodka beverages, smartwater, Stella Artois and a variety of food including our favorite-the PB&J. Temperature was nicer this year than last but was still hot enough for guests to cool off with the Cosmopolitan cooling towels. Guests taking in the parade of boats fun-emceed by NBC5 Alicia Roman, Michigan Ave Mag EIC JP Anderson, Dan Uslan -included: Les Coney, Julie and Justin Bouchard, Megan Goulette, Isreal Idonije, Bianca Anderson, Theodore Venable, The NBC5 crew of Daniella Guzman, Brenda Arellano, Stefan Holt, Nick Scafiezzo, Kye Martin, Cheryl Scott,
Anna Kimball, Veuve Clicquot and Michigan Ave Mag team all did a great job!
