Detroit watchmaker Shinola, in an attempt to poke fun at the media storm and upcoming pre-order of the Apple Watch will run print ads in publications such as The New York Times and The Wall Street Journal that will hit on Friday. The three variations of the ads placed next to Shinola’s Runwell model will be:
“A watch so smart, it can tell you the time, just by looking at it”
“A watch too smart to try and be a phone,” and “Are you frightened by technology, but tired of the inconvenience of clock towers and sundials?” ha!!!
