
Accessories and footwear designer Paul Andrew is expanding his role following a stint as Salvatore Ferragamo’s footwear design director, as he’s been named creative director, women’s collections for the Italian fashion brand after the exit of women’s design director Fulvio Rigoni. Andrew, who designs his namesake Paul Andrew shoe line was the 2016 CFDA Swarovski Award for Accessory Design recipient. British born Andrew, who launched his line in 2012 had previously worked for brands including Calvin Klein, Narcisco Rodriguez and Alexander McQueen and Donna Karan His role as Salvatore Ferragamo’s creative director of womenswear which will entail oversight over the development of all women’s product categories, as well as the creative contents of all marketing, communication and images, is effective immediately. His first collection for Ferragamo will debut during the fall 2018 season. He recently revealed one of the shoes that took to the runway during Milan Fashion Week sp/su ’18to FootwearNews
