The Women’s Board of Lincoln Park Zoo hsted a live auction fundraiser-ZooLA where they raised over $250,000. The event was held at the members only Casino CLub(195 E Delaware Place). 180 Guests in attendance included Lincoln Park Zoo Women’s board member Wendy Krimins of Neiman Marcus, Board President Bridget Campbell, Dana and Ricky Abt; Elizabeth and John Cusack; Holly and Peter Geraci; John Ginascol (Abbott); Diana Hall; Wendy Krimins; Tina and Mike Leopardo; Roberta Olshansky; Myra and John Reilly; Terry Sullivan; Kimbra Walter and many others.


The 20 live auction items included BEYOND items such as Harry Winston Midnight Collection Ladies’ Timepiece; 1-week stay at the Four Seasons ski resort in Jackson Hole, WY; An experience for two at Super Bowl XLVIII in February, 2014; VIP seats to a taping of “Dancing with the Stars” to name a few. Proceeds goes towards the different initiatives of the Lincoln Park Zoo which remains free to visitors year round.

GLOW
The Chicago Lights Associates Board Gala celebrated their 2nd annual fundraiser GLOW on October 19 at the Museum on COntemporary Art raising $30,000. Chicago Lights which is an community outreach arm of Fourth Presbyterian Church, has served more than 50,000 Chicago residents since 1964. The monies raised will support the organizations outreach initiatives
