Art Basel Miami Beach, the premiere U.S art event, had a slew of high profile parties but the most highly anticipated one was the Moncler party on Friday (12/7). Many high profile names in town for Art Basel were at this party, to celebrate the 60th anniversary of the innovative outerwear brand with it’s President and Creative Director Remo Ruffini, including Hamish Bowles-Vogue Magazine, Stefano Tonchi-W Magazine, The Brant brothers-Harry and Peter, Jr, Pharrell Williams who held a book signing at the new Moncler store in Bal Harbour Shops the following day,Bruce Weber & Nan Bush, Derek Blasberg, Scott Schuman, Eva Cavalli, China Chow, Ugo Colombo, Stephen Dorff, Laure Hériard Dubreuil, Todd Eberle, Delfina Delettrez Fendi, Silvia Venturini Fendi, Riccardo Ferragamo, HRH Princess Firyal of Jordan, Claudia Galanti, Pamela Golbin, Cornelia Guest, Laura de Gunzburg, Victoria Hervey, Iran Issa Khan, Will Kopelman, Karolina Kurkova, Ronnie Madra, Lorenzo Martone, Alex Mustonen, Chad & Ilona Oppenheim, Richard Phillips & Josephine Meckseper, Emanuel Perrotin, Jean Pigozzi, Alessandro Possati, Craig Robins, Loree Rodkin, Renzo Rosso & Arianna Alessi, Alexander Rower, Amy Sacco, Sofia Sanchez, Allison Sarofim, Uma Thurman, Giambattista Valli, Olivier Van Themsche, Milan Vukmirovic, Walid Wahab, Neville Wakefield, Owen Wilson, Aaron Young, Yi Zhou and many more.
The evening began at a super secret location ( the Herzog & de Meuron designed parking structure) overlooking the South Beach skyline on Lincoln Road, with a private dinner experience. Following dinner, guests including Guido Callarelli, Vikram Chatwal, Will Claye, Pippa Cohen, Dori Cooperman, Kipton Cronkite, Brandon Davis, Kathy Freston, Keenyah Hill, Paris Hilton and Nicky Hilton, Rory Tahari, Timo Weiland and others joined the afterparty with DJ Jerry Bouthier.
Moncler broke with tradition to celebrete it’s 60th anniversary by having the party in Miami rather than Paris or Milan.
