Chicago’s Junior League hosted their first winter gala bringing together members and friends of JLC to help raise $50,000 on February 28.
The evening, celebrated at the Museum of Broadcast Communications, was emceed by CBS 2 Morning News Anchor Erin Kennedy, co-chaired by Melissa Schumacher and Karen McNamara.
Guests dressed in their glam dresses, suits and tuxes, checked out and bid on the several luxurious silent auction items including an Acoustic Guitar signed by John Mellencamp, Membership to DreamDry Chicago and Weekend Vacation at the One & Only Ocean Club resort in the Bahamas.
Guests in attendance including, Katie Kessler, Erica Sypek, Alex Demers, Sascha kalpake, Ann-Bennett Thomas, Shura Durakova, Ann Carstensen, Travis Mullis, Erika Lowe, Rachel Kuchar, Melissa Schumacher, Lauren and Wes Goebel, Stephanie Manning, to name a few enjoyed the evening filled with food, libations and danced the night away to live music from the band Green Thirteen.
The Junior League of Chicago through its members, volunteers and raises thousands of dollars each year to fund and support community projects.
